We offer the following information regarding SSA's emergency procedures:
The official media outlet for all Archdiocesan schools (including SSA) is WWL-AM 870 and WWL-TV, Channel 4. Other channels are usually notified as well.
When it is announced by the Archdiocesan Catholic Schools Superintendent that all Catholic Schools in the Archdiocese are closed, then SSA is closed.
When it is announced by the St. Tammany Superintendent that all St. Tammany schools are closed, then SSA is closed.

Parents Evacuation Checklist
When preparing to evacuate, be sure to pack up your child's:
Birth certificate
Social Security Card or other identification such as a Green Card or Passport
Most recent report card
Previous year's year-end report card
Updated transcripts
Most recent standardized test scores
Current class schedule
Immunization records
Book bags packed with all text books currently at home
School uniforms
Baptismal certificate if applicable – especially important for those preparing to receive sacraments
